This Oven Roasted Nashville Hot Turkey is spicy, hot, and just a little bit sweet. Enjoy as a main entrée, sandwich, and more!

- Turkey - Avocado Oil - BBQ Dry Rub Nashville Sauce: - Smoked Paprika - Chili Powder - Cayenne Pepper - Granulated Onion - Garlic - Kosher Salt - Canola Oil

Ingredients

Step 1

Break down Turkey  into eight pieces and let chill uncovered in the fridge overnight or for at least a few hours. This will dry out the skin to help it get crispy when it roasts.

Step 2

Season the turkey on all sides with avocado oil and dry rub. Place on  a sheet pan with an  elevated rack.

Step 3

Combine the  dry seasonings in a heat-safe bowl and heat oil to 275 degrees F. Pour the hot oil over the seasonings and whisk.

Step 4

Inject each piece of turkey with Nashville sauce. Cook the dark meat for about 2 hours until the drumsticks and thighs reach an internal temperature of 195-200 degrees F.
