Don't waste those potato peels when making mashed potatoes; turn them into a fantastic snack that everyone will love. Potato Peel Chips are the crispy snack you didn't know you needed!

- Leftover potato peels - Old Bay or your favorite seasoning - Canola oil

Ingredients

Step 1

After peeling all  your potatoes, take the leftover peels and rinse them in cold water until the water runs clear. Drain and pat dry with paper towels.

Step 2

Heat a dutch oven with oil to 350 degrees F. never fill the pot past halfway with oil to prevent the oil from overflowing.

Step 3

Once the oil is hot,  place a small amount of the potato peels into the oil and fry them in batches for 3-5 minutes until crispy.

Step 4

As soon as the potato peels are crispy and golden, remove them with the spider and transfer them to a tray lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
