Instructions

  • Wash the outside of the acorn squash, then pat dry with a paper towel
  • Cut off the stem of the squash, then cut the squash in half. Scoop out the seeds, then cut the acorn squash into 1-inch thick wedges.
  • Toss the acorn squash with avocado oil, then season on all sides with your favorite dry rub.
  • Grill the acorn squash for about 45 minutes until tender at 350 degrees F.
  • Prepare the glaze by whisking together melted butter with bitters, agave, hot sauce, and pumpkin pie spice.
  • Brush on the glaze and grill for 10-15 minutes until fully cooked. Brush on another coat of any remaining glaze just before serving.
