Spicy Smoked Almonds Recipe on the UDS Recipe


  • 2 cups Raw Almonds
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 1-2 T Olive oil
  • 1-2 T BBQ Dry Rub


  • Add water and salt together in a container to make a brine.
  • Add almonds to the brine and let sit overnight at room temperature.
  • Remove the brine from the nuts (strain or pour off). No need to rinse.
  • Coat nuts with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle your favorite BBQ dry rub on top of the nuts.
  • Smoke until the almonds are roasted (about 45 min - 1 hour)
