  • Combine seasoning blend by mixing together, salt, pepper, onion, garlic and thyme. Combine seasoning blend with cornstarch and set aside.
  • Cut potatoes into wedges so that you get 6-8 wedges from each potato. Wash the wedges under cold water, drain and pat dry with paper towel.
  • Once the potatoes are dry place the wedges in a large bowl and coat with avocado oil. Next toss the potatoe wedges in seasoned cornstarch mix so that the potatoes are coated on all sides.
  • Place the steak fries in the air fryer and cook at 375 for about 20 minutes. let the fries cool for at least 30 minutes or refrigerate for a few hours.
  • Cook the steak fries a second time at 400 degrees F. for 25-30 minutes flipping the steak fries half way through the second cook.
  • Fries are done once they have reached the color youre happy with. If you like them super crispy just keep cooking a few extra minutes.
