Bang Bang Smoked Baby Back Ribs

A fun twist on traditional smoked baby back ribs. If you love baby back ribs but want a little extra kick this is the rib recipe for you!

Ingredients

  • 2 Racks Baby Back Ribs
  • 2 tbsp Maggi Seasoning or Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Avocado Oil
  • 1 Fresh Jalapeño thinly Sliced
  • 1/4 cup Scallions Thinly Sliced
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  • Preheat Smoker to 250 degrees F.
  • Prepare the rub seasoning by combining the seasoning in a shaker jar or a bowl
  • Remove the membrane from the ribs and trim off any pieces of bone. Rub down the ribs with Maggi seasoning and avocado oil on both sides
  • Season the ribs on both sides and let sit for 15 minutes while the smoker heats up. Smoke the ribs at 250 degrees f. for 4 hours. once an hour spray with cooking spray just to prevent the ribs from drying out.
  • Once the ribs are tender and have and internal temperature between 195-205 degrees F. brush the bang bang sauce on the ribs and continue to cook for about 10-15 minutes until the sauce caramelizes.
  • Slice the ribs individually and brush extra sauce onto the sides of the ribs. Garnish with scallions, sliced jalapeños and sesame seeds
