This Paw Paw Ice Cream Recipe is creamy and smooth with that unmistakable flavor of this tropical tasting fruit found on the eastern half of the United States.
Peel all the skin from the pawpaw using a peeler or a paring knife then spilt in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Puree the pawpaw in a food processor then add remaining ingredients.
Continue to blend all ingredients until smooth then transfer to a container and chill for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Once cream mixture if completely chilled pour into the frozen ice cream maker cylinder. Churn the ice cream for about 10 minutes until thickened.
You may enjoy the soft ice cream immediately or place in pint containers and chill for 3 hours to firm up.
