Wash off asparagus and pat dry with a paper towel. Take one spear of asparagus and hold at both ends one inch in from the tip. Bend the spear putting slightly more presure on the stem end until it snaps. Cut remaining asparagus to that same length
Drizzle with avocado oil and toss so that all the spears are coated. Add italian seasoning, seasoned salt and grated parmesan and toss again
Heat grill to about 400 degrees F. place the spears on the grill grates in the opposite direction of the grates in a single layer. Grill for about 5 minutes then start moving them around to grill on all sides. Should take 8-10 minutes total depending on thickness.
Grab one spear and bite into it. The spear should be tender but not floppy and be able to hold up and not bend in half. Serve immediately
