Instructions

  • Preheat the pellet grill to 225 degrees F.
  • In a large mixing bowl whisk together avocado oil and worchestershire sauce then add in your beef short ribs and massage the marinade into the meat. Let sit for 30 minutes or over nignt.
  • About 20 minutes before you are ready to cook remove the short ribs from the marinade and season with a heavy coat of black pepper and your favorite dry rub.
  • Place the Short ribs in the pellet grill and smoke for 2 hours.
  • after two hours spray the ribs with a light coat of cooking spray then continue cooking for another 2 hours. By this point the bones should be pulling away from the meat.
  • transfer the ribs into a 8x10 foil pan and pour in 1 cup of beer or beef stock along with 2 tbsp worchestershire sauce. Cover and place back on the pit to cook for another 2 hours at 275 degrees F.
  • The short ribs are done when you can stick a probe thermometer into the thickest part of the short rib and pull it out without the rib moving or feeling any tension.

Notes

Serving Size is about 6oz of meat
Reheating short ribs has never been easier! Place the leftover ribs in a covered pot on the stove for roughly 20 minutes or reheat them in the oven at 350F for about 15 minutes.
