Combine all of the spices and brown sugar together so the ingredients are well-mixed.
Toss the almonds in a large bowl with olive oil until well coated. Let sit for 5 minutes to absorb. Slowly pour in the spice mix, tossing simultaneously to coat the almonds.
Spread out the nuts on a pan or mesh basket and smoke for about 1 hour.
Let the nuts cool completely before transferring into an airtight container.
