Wrap the Wheat Grinder Sub rolls in aluminum foil and place them directly on the grill grate. After a minute or so, turn the roll around. This will get the roll a bit crispy and very warm. Open up the foil and lay a bratwurst sausage in the roll and generously top with the marinara sauce mixture. Top the sub with some shredded mozzarella cheese and serve.

So pleased to have come across this recipe, Frank. I had leftover brats, home made marinara, a green pepper, a red onion and a block of mozzarella that all needed to be used up. I followed the recipe with cooking the garlic, green pepper and onions in a cast iron on my grill until they were cooked. Then I added my marinara and a little later, the cooked brats went in the pan. I only had hot dog buns (that needed to be used up also, haha). This meal fell together so nicely. I even had potato chips which in your photos, stole my heart as I rarely eat chips, BUT I ate em today!!!!! Delicious. This was my lucky day running across your site, Frank. Thanks for sharing.
