There are two really easy things you can do to make a burger taste absolutely amazing. 1. Soak the burger overnight in Worcestershire sauce. 2. Use Pimento cheese. The Worcestershire sauce provides a rich flavor and some extra moisture. The Pimento cheese, in my opinion, is the cheese that simply melts the best. Combine the two and you have a simple way to grill a very impressive burger.

The day before (or even just a few hours before), grab some 80% lean beef and prepare some loose packed 1/2 pound burger patties. Push a little indentation on both sides of the burger, to avoid that softball look while grilling. In this case it also provides a nice little area for the Worcestershire sauce to sit. Cover the patties with some fresh ground black pepper.
I lit my new Coyote Asado Grill to a medium high heat at about 400 degrees and put the burgers right on. I’m loving this new grill. If you are interested in learning more about it check out my Coyote Asado Smoker Review. There was a little Worcestershire sauce left in the bottom of the pan and I poured that right into that little indentation that I made into the burgers.
After about 5 minutes, I flipped the burgers over. They look amazing and smell even better!
I had some Pimento cheese ready by the grill for easy spreading on top of the burgers once they were almost cooked. The Pimento cheese is really a cheese spread, so it doesn’t take much time to melt. My Pimento Cheese recipe can be found at this link. I had the fresh rolls and Pimento cheese ready on the side table of the grill.
I generously spooned the Pimento cheese onto the burgers and closed the lid of the grill to let it melt.
It smelled amazing, the smoke was roaring out of the grill and the smell of burgers was everywhere.
I toasted the rolls for about 30 seconds and slid those burgers right on top. What a simple burger to make that is packed with flavor. I absolutely love melted Pimento cheese on top of a burger, especially when the burger is packed with the rich flavor of Worcestershire sauce.
